About Jock

Jock Main accidentally became an ice cream master.

About 20 years ago Jock was riding his motorbike home from his job as a caterer. He hit a bollard on Lakeside Drive. His injury kept him at home for weeks. His parents bought him a domestic ice cream machine to occupy his time.

From this simple gesture Jock started playing with ideas and recipes. He returned to work and was soon on his way to ice cream history.

In 2001 Jock opened his shop on Victoria Avenue where he remains today.

Jock’s Ice Cream & Sorbet has become a Melbourne destination for ice cream lovers. Jock’s hand made hokey pokey has achieved cult like status.
